Experience the Ride
"If a trainer is anything, it's repetition. Beginning in November last year, I started logging those long hours needed to be competitive. It's through these multi-hour trainer rides, time after time, hour after hour, that i'm gaining a tremendous fondness for my newest trainer, a spiffy Saris H3 Plus."

Exactly What We Needed

Been riding this trainer for 2 weeks and it's such a huge jump from my old trainer. My son and I share the trainer and the bike that is attached to it. 12 speed is a must because now I am too fat to climb anything and he still gets many usable gears. This trainer is very responsive. The slightest increase in gradient results in increased resistance. You better shift early when you see the steep stuff coming. Extremely quiet. I wax my chains and still the H3 is quieter than the bike. Which is perfect because I decided to move my setup onto our 3 seasons porch. The barn has been too cold for me to workout in it. I am very happy with this purchase. I think it was money well spent.
Best value in it's class
Dgersh24 7 months ago
I've had my M2 now for about 2 1/2 years and it's by far the best trainer I've ever had...smart or not. It's durable, stable and has worked well with both Zwift and Rouvy although I dropped Zwift as it got boring with the limited courses compared to Rouvy. I do agree with other reviewers regarding setting the tension. Turning it until it clicks makes for a much harder ride, particularly when you start, and it will wear out your tires quickly. I turn it until it firmly connects with the tire and then hold the flywheel and try to move the wheel. If it doesn't slip, then it's perfect. I don't have the room for a a per- manent setup so the off-wheel trainers were not an option for me...the fold-up capability of the M2 suits my needs...takes just a few minutes. This is a LOT of trainer for the money.
Easy and Seamless setup!

This just arrived a few days ago and I have gotten 3 rides in already. It feels so realistic and the feedback to what is happening when paired with the Zwift app is pretty instantaneous. The connectivity from the trainer to Zwift and to my Garmin Fenix 6 watch is fantastic. I am super happy.
Cruising Into the Season

The Fluid2 Trainer was easy to set up and get rolling. The clutch/knob takes the guesswork out of tire-roller contact. The resistance unit is very quiet and smooth, especially when using a properly inflated training tire. Since this is a basic trainer, it is necessary to manually shift gears in accordance with the gradient or speed, which gives a real road feel. I am using GCN training videos which offers a wide selection of programs.
Great for winter spinning
sawyer123 4 years ago
I got my trainer about a month and a half ago, and it works great. It's sturdy, holds the bike tight with the provided rear axle, has good resistance, and is actually relatively quiet on a solid floor. My only advice would be to not spend the extra money for the handlebar cable to change resistances. I did this, and found that it works very poorly, I took it off my trainer right after trying it out. I find the trainer performs best when I set the resistance at the highest setting and simply change gears as normal to vary my effort. Overall works great for inside spinning.
Solid Smart Trainer and Great Value!

Have been using the M2 for about six months and have been extremely happy with it! Easy to set up and the clutch on the tire/roller knob gives the right amount of pressure every time, no worrying about slipping or excessive drag. I trainer for the track and routinely push 1500 watts on the M2 with no issues. Maybe not as quite as some trainers, but with the a fan blowing I don't really notice it. Great trainer, glad I got it!
AMAZING TECHNOLOGY
Diego 2 years ago
I bought this over a month. The technology is amazing, the feel is incredible and it makes very little noise. My only constructive feedback would be about the ¨Legs¨ you have to play a little bit with them to get them out or in, they work just fine but it can be improved.
Great value - works with bolt on rear wheels.
Cap'n Black of DIRT RAG f 11 months ago
Wasn't sure if it would work on rear wheels that bolt to the frame, but saw a video. Got it quickly- great service. Easy assembly, then put my 6KU Fixie in and it works great. Typical SARIS Quality.
Solid and reliable trainer

I have owned a Fluid 2 for 6 years, it has never skipped a beat. The speed sensor let's me log mileage and speed via my Wahoo Element for my indoor workouts.
Most important is the lack of power limitations of this trainer. Unlike many of the smart trainers that freak out after a 5 minute block at 400W+ , this unit maintains it's resistance no matter what, even if you spoke beyond 1000W during your sprints.
Forever user, and will stay that way.

I bought one of the early model (Hammer) trainers on which this is based. I'm still using it 6 years later, with only expected maintenance and it rocks! When I do need/want to modernize, for sure I will get a H3 (or 4 or 5). These things are durable, accurate and the one time I needed customer support - they were great.
Solid performance and value
CharlesWNY 4 years ago
I have only used the trainer a few times so far. The setup was easy on my Specialized Roubaix. I used a Saris thru axel adapter (sold sparely). The resistance is smooth and the noise level lower than the magnetic trainer I had many years ago. My only concern so far is that the adjustments on the left side of the trainer do allow me widen the space for my axel more. This results in a very tight fit and a lot of force to lock the unit. It works fine and should be tight but a bit more room to make locking and removal easier would be helpful.
Mag+ Trainer Does the Job Needed

I have had this trainer for a few months now and have already put several hundred miles on it with no issues. Does the needed job for inside training rides at a reasonable price.
Great trainer and warranty service
AFC a year ago
I purchased my M2 in September of 2019. Overall, it has been a great trainer - good accuracy, good road feel, good simulation, and minimal footprint. I'm ~200lbs, have a 1000W sprint, and have put about 20,000 miles on my trainer in Zwift. After this usage (abuse?), a weld attaching the resistance unit to the frame failed, but even with one bracket broken, the trainer kept working (with the calibration drifting)… I didn’t discover the issue until the second weld cracked and calibration wasn’t working. An email to support, and I had a replacement frame (lifetime warranty) in less than a week. Tough product and great warranty service.
Solid, dependable and easy to set up
MMcL 10 years ago
I've had two of these models for two years now (one for my bike and one for my wife's bike) and it is a solid, well built, and easy to set up trainer. I would recommend getting a trainer tyre though because normal road tyres will wear noticeably on it. It is great value for the cash conscious.
Perfect during winter months!

I have really enjoyed the trainer so far. Took some additional research to figure out how to pair the sensor to my watch but once I figured it out it's been a very smooth experience since! Absolutely love this and very happy with my purchase.
